Meet Dr. M. Yousuf Ebrahim
Dr. M. Yousuf Ebrahim is a Nephrologist and Co-Owner of Spartanburg Nephrology Associates, LLC. He began with Spartanburg Nephrology Associates in May 2000. He resides with his family in Greenville SC.
Dr. Ebrahim graduated in 1991 from Medical College, University of Karachi, Pakistan. In June 1997, he completed his Internal Medicine Residency at College of Physicians & Surgeons of Columbia University, Harlem Hospital Center, New York NY and in June 1999, his Fellowship in Nephrology at Medical College of Georgia, Augusta GA.
Dr. Ebrahim is a 1999, 2009 Board Certified Nephrologist and has experience in all spectrums of Nephrology related problems. His special interests include Hypertension, Electrolytes & Acute Kidney Failure. He also became a Board Certified Hypertension Specialist by the American Society of Hypertension.

- Actively involved in the teaching program with Spartanburg Regional Residency Program and the Edward via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM), Spartanburg and Blacksburg campuses. He is also an Assistant Professor and guest speaker for VCOM, since 2011.
- Provides Administrative services for Spartanburg Rehabilitation Institute.
- Board Certified Clinical Hypertension Specialist, issued by the American Society of Hypertension, 2014.
- Chair-person, Renal Advisory Board Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, 2011 to present.

- Served as Vice-Chief of Nephrology Department, Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, 2003 - 2007 and Chief of Nephrology Department, 2008-2012.
